Tea and Crafting
Covent Garden & Camden, London
Tea & Crafting started out as a little pocket of creative calm in the bustling streets of Camden, North London. Now they have a new gorgeous venue in Covent Garden too. Both workshop spaces are filled with beautiful handmade pieces from every craft under the sun and are close to underground stations so easy to travel to from anywhere in or around London. Please do make sure to check which of the two Tea & Crafting venues your workshop is being held at before booking (details on the "Book a Class" page). Tea, coffee and cakes are provided with every class and sometimes prosecco too! For directions to Tea & Crafting in Covent Garden, see Google Maps below or visit the Tea & Crafting website for directions to Camden.
Make Create Craft
Our Surrey venue, “Make Create Craft” is a light, airy workshop space inside an old Victorian school. There is plenty of space to spread out in the workshop room itself and plenty of parking outside for those driving. Kate, the owner of Make Create Craft, is a wonderful baker so you can expect delicious homemade cake at any workshop held here. Tea, coffee and soft drinks are included too. For directions to this venue see Google Maps or visit the Make Create Craft website for precise directions.
Ragged Life HQ
Our Ragged Life rag rug HQ is located in the beautiful grounds of Delamere House (cardinal Wolsey’s old hunting lodge) in the quaint village of Great Wymondley. There is plenty of free on-site parking but, for those taking public transport, the venue can be reached by travelling to Hitchin station (direct trains from London Kings Cross, Finsbury Park, Cambridge, Peterborough, and beyond) and taking a short, approx £7, taxi ride. One of the many perks of doing a workshop at our Rag Rug HQ is that you have free reign to choose from our extensive fabric hoard. Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided throughout the day. For directions to this venue see Google Maps or our FAQ section.
Ragged Life London HQ
Our Ragged Life London HQ is located in the beautiful, cobbled area of “Wapping” near the Tower of London. Formerly the home of newspaper printing (somewhat infamously so), Wapping is full of characterful warehouse conversions and pretty canals. The workshop itself will take place in Elspeth’s cosy London flat (which you’re welcome to have a browse of here) and is capped at a maximum of six students per class. The full address of the venue is sent out after booking but the closest stations are Wapping (5 minute walk), Shadwell (7 minute walk) and Tower Hill (20 minute walk). For more details, please see our FAQ section.

The studio is within a 5 minute walk of both West Hampstead Tube (Jubilee line) and West Hampstead Thameslink (which goes from Highbury & Islington, Richmond or Clapham Junction).
